Valentine's Day, February 14th, is a enjoyable time for both young and outdated! It's a time to think of those we love and celebrate friendship and kindness. It was 1 of my preferred winter holidays when the kids were younger as I beloved all the hoopla of the events in school, Scouts and Sunday School. It had been a break from the winter doldrums! On Valentines Time we would count the coins and decide where we would donate the monies. 1 year it had been the nearby volunteer Fire Department as my son thought since the trucks had been red and Santa usually visited the town using the firemen each year, that they should get the gift.
